Their first full-length album, Friendly Reminders is a collection of ten powerful songs written from the heart, and undeniably, the head as well. Ian Foster’s songwriting skills are on full display with infinitely replayable tunes like “Dirt” and thoughtful hindsight-reflections like “Busk or Bust”. The musical arrangement of each piece is equally impressive; each musician’s personal flair comes through at the perfect time to weave lyrical and musical stories that stay with me long after I press pause. I am anxiously awaiting an indie film studio to pick up this album as the soundtrack for their next project.
